It is starting to get pretty big, I would say it is about 25 feet tall now. I planted it about 7 years ago. As far as the OCD thing, she just knows that gets me going. I just like to do things right or why even bother.Krishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18421605987086278458noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2913864041606190081.post-69650922558927393872012-05-21T11:23:39.816-04:002012-05-21T11:23:39.816-04:00That looks really pretty, and I never thought abou...That looks really pretty, and I never thought about using spray paint like that, that is a really good idea.
Oh, well, my husband and I can never decide who is more OCD when it comes to gardening. :) In your above post to said you had a red maple. My husband is going to be teaching himself grafting in the fall. He has 25 Japanese Maple root stock coming.I love how the more you know about gardening there is always more to learn.
Have a great Week.Farm Girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00998621464797636686noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2913864041606190081.post-55647011407965949282012-05-20T22:21:45.571-04:002012-05-20T22:21:45.571-04:00Thanks Ed, I have always liked begonias. I figured that would clash with the roses so I decided to put the marigolds in the garden and swapped in some begonias.Krishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18421605987086278458noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2913864041606190081.post-12557859120871151362012-05-20T18:59:10.076-04:002012-05-20T18:59:10.076-04:00Kris, looking good! We'll have converted to a flower garden in no time.Edhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09433165045195052022noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2913864041606190081.post-10556875998901087562012-05-20T17:15:35.092-04:002012-05-20T17:15:35.092-04:00Lisa - Thanks, I hope so too. My neighbor has the regular knockouts and they are huge. They are everywhere down here where I live.

Jenny - Thank you, it is a tiny plant because I had to be cheap and get the 1 gallon size but I hope it gets bigger quickly. I gave it a dose of fertilizer to help it along.Krishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18421605987086278458noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2913864041606190081.post-17238689714404552862012-05-20T13:45:08.897-04:002012-05-20T13:45:08.897-04:00Very nicely done and that's a beautiful rose!Very nicely done and that's a beautiful rose!Jenny Rottingerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09559432369642740389noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2913864041606190081.post-12871261498644768802012-05-20T11:48:08.036-04:002012-05-20T11:48:08.036-04:00Very nice and I think you will be pleased with the...Very nice and I think you will be pleased with the knockout roses.
LisaTomato Thymeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08230293839907441174noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2913864041606190081.post-19117983662236043732012-05-20T11:21:26.297-04:002012-05-20T11:21:26.297-04:00Thanks Kelli, It can get kind of pricey. Down here sod ranges from $85 a pallet for bermuda to $150 a pallet for zoysia and others.

I went with bermuda because of cost and it took 4 pallets to do my area. So $340 wasn't to bad for my area. A pallet down here covers 500 sq. ft. I don't know how much grasses up north cost a pallet, but it can add up if you have a huge area to sod.Krishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18421605987086278458noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2913864041606190081.post-36327883999261918032012-05-20T11:11:33.819-04:002012-05-20T11:11:33.819-04:00very pretty! i'd like to put sod in my yard bu...very pretty! i'd like to put sod in my yard but we have so much space and so little funds!=)kellihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08532066803345129472noreply@blogger.com
