First Zucchini of the Season

Please visit and like my new facebook page Georgia Home Garden.

I have harvested the first zukes of the season. I have three plants right now, each with about five zucchini growing. I harvested the first two of the season and tonight we got to enjoy our first stir fry using some of my fresh grown veggies.

I marinated some ribeye steak in Dale's Seasoning and added some snow peas and the two zukes. I topped it off with Tony Chachere's creole seasoning. It was really good. I hoped to have some yellow crookneck squash to mix in with it, but they are not quite ready yet. I have heard that zucchini is so prolific that I may tire of it. I hope to try some different recipes, if anyone has suggestions.

Wow, 20 in one harvest, that is impressive. How many plants do you currently have? Thanks for the link to your blog, I will keep my eyes out for your posts.
