June 30, 2012 - Hottest Day Ever, No Really!

Please visit and like my new facebook page Georgia Home Garden.

Today we broke an all time record in my town, not for the day or the month, but for the entire history that they have been keeping records.  We hit 106 today and it is 92 right now at 11pm.  When you add that we have had no rain in weeks and it is plain miserable for my garden.

This was taken around 4pm from weather.com

This is right now, it is crazy.

It's plain miserable for you, too. I feel sorry for anyone who has to work outside in this mess. Ack! It's hot!

It's dry here in Missouri too but I don't think as hat. I'll be glad when this drought ends. Maybe we will have a tropical storm come up from the South and get stalled here for a few days. One big enough to give everybody that's dry some rain but no hurricaines or tornadoes.

Carl - I sure hope something changes soon. The last few months have been so dry for us. Thanks for posting on my blog.

Wow! I hope the humidity wasn't that high. I've been grousing about our temps in the mid to high 90's. I guess it's not that bad here. I'd love to send one of our wild storms your way.

Ed - The humidity was on up there and dew point was high too. We did get a rain shower at 5am this morning. I don't know how much but at least it was something.

Cristy - I don't know if I ever will get used to our summers. I just learn to deal with them, but I certainly don't like them.
